Our Team

We are a passionate team of professionals who are devoted to continually finding the best ways to serve you. Our friendly and fun atmosphere allows us to connect with you because your comfort is our priority.  We are proud to be a part of the community and to help each patient love their teeth!

Our staff is dedicated to providing care in multiple languages, including Mandarin, Cantonese, Armenian, Russian, and Tagalog. Let us know if you’d like assistance in your preferred language.

Susan (RDH)

Susan, the owner of our practice, has 14 years of experience as a Chinese dental hygienist and stays up-to-date with the latest techniques and technology in the field. Fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin, she is dedicated to providing top-notch care to a diverse range of patients.



When not working, Susan enjoys snowboarding, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her daughter and her dog, Hugo. Always passionate about continuing education, she strives to bring the best in dental care to her community.

Christy (RDH)

Christy grew up in beautiful Vancouver Island, but has called Edmonton home now for the last 14 years. She has a beautiful dog named Ruby, who is the love of her life. She became a RDH in 2009 from UBC and obtained her Baccalaureate of Dental in 2013. Christy loves her career and strives to provide a thorough, comprehensive care while keeping patients as comfortable as possible. She enjoys working with the most up-to-date technology and treatment methods, including guided biofilm therapy.

Tina (RDA Registered dental assistant)

Tina joined LYT in 2020, bringing with her a decade of experience as a dental sterilization tech. In 2023, she expanded her role to become an RDA/Admin after graduating the same year.

Outside of work, Tina enjoys various outdoor activities, including skiing, hiking, paddle boarding and camping. She’s also a fan of scrap booking, cooking, and baking. Tina is the proud mom of her dog, Alfie, and has a deep passion for helping others, always greeting everyone with a friendly smile. Tina is fluent in Tagalog.

Ruzanna

Ruzanna joined LYT in 2023, bringing two decades of expertise in the dental industry, specifically in accounts receivable and patient treatment coordination. Her wealth of experience makes her a valuable asset to the team. Originally from Armenia, Ruzanna loves travelling, cooking, and enjoying quality time with her family. And when she is not busy managing the dental world, she’s spoiling her two adorable granddaughters. She is fluent in Armenian, Russian, and English.

Sandy

Sandy graduated from the University of Alberta Dental Hygiene Program in 2015. She makes it her goal to ensure patients feel welcomed and understood in her chair. In her time off, she enjoys cooking, experiencing new cultures when travelling and watching TV. She hopes to continue to expand her travels into Italy, South Korea and Guam sometime in the future. Sandy is fluent in Cantonese.

Tori ( Admin/Sterilization Tech)

Tori is our youngest member at LYT. She enjoys snow boarding in the winter and wake boarding in the summer. She use to be a competitive gymnast with her twin sister.

To best serve you, our clinic was meticulously designed to create an open and comfortable environment. When you come in, welcoming staff will cater to fulfill any needs and address any questions that you may have.

Safety concerns are always at the forefront of our minds. Stringent guidelines were followed during design to meet our high standards; from the water we use to the areas we created for our strict sterilization processes (visible for your viewing)! Your hygienists have certifications to sterilize equipment and tools ensuring safety and minimizing infections.

You get individualized attention without feeling confined! Your treatment room features natural light from large windows, glass doors to keep our conversations confidential, and television sets on the ceiling for you to enjoy your favourite shows or movies while you’re getting treated. All treatment rooms are separated to prevent any spreading of bacteria. 

State-of-the-art technology combined with our ongoing process of updating our skills will ensure your time with us is comfortable, efficient, and as effective as possible.
